We are currently recruiting new and experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs), who have a passion for wanting to make a difference to the outcomes of our consumers, to join our allied health team.
About the role
AHP-1: You will part of a multidisciplinary team and are accountable for the provision of occupational therapy services across CALHN services as well as participates in departmental educational, quality improvement and planning activities.
This leads to improved clinical outcomes for the patients of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC), Repatriation Health Precinct (RHP), Glenside Health Services and community and ambulatory services or programs.
You will work under direct clinical supervision and demonstrates at least a competent level of professional knowledge and skill. With increasing experience, they will independently undertake standard professional tasks.

The AHP2 Occupational Therapist demonstrates a proficient level of professional knowledge. They may be required to provide professional/clinical supervision to AHP1 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, undergraduate and post-graduate Occupational Therapy students, and work experience students.
CALHN AHP1-2 Occupational Therapy positions are rotational which periodically provides staff with a wonderful opportunity to learn and develop new skills and experience within a supportive environment.
Contracts are initially for 7 months but opportunities to extend post Jan 2025.
