Occupational Therapist – Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Casual positions available
Grade 1, 2 or 3 – dependent on experience

The Role:
We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists to provide services across the acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings.
Your workload will include outpatient’s service such as hand therapy, neurological, rehabilitation and pre-admission assessment.
You will also gain experience in a variety of general hospital settings including orthopaedics, general medical / surgical wards, rehabilitation and outpatients.
To be successful in this role as a Grade 1, 2 or 3Occupational Therapist, you will have:
- Registration with AHPRA
- Experience in an acute hospital setting and/or rehabilitation is essential for Grade 2 and 3 positions.
- The capacity to manage a busy and diverse caseload
- Be able to deliver strong and effective communication skills and have exceptional inter-personal skills
Our Allied Health team:
The Allied Health team at Mildura Base Public Hospital comprises of over 30 staff including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work and Allied Health Assistants.
Allied Health clinicians are valued within the organisation and all disciplines report to an Allied Health Manager, who is an Allied Health Professional.

- The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and independently.
- Ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy treatment programs.
- A strong focus on time management and highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Positive self-awareness and a caring and nurturing personality.
- Possess highly developed assessment, documentation and problem-solving skills.

- Recently announced Victorian Government Grants of up to $15,000 available to domestic and international students to help them relocate and settle - alleviating the costs of accommodation and moving, supporting graduates to start their career in regional or rural Victoria.
