Join a supportive multidisciplinary team working in the inpatient rehabilitation setting on our 60 bed rehabilitation unit at Beleura Private Hospital.
There is also potential to gain experience in a broader range of service areas, including acute services and outpatient rehabilitation.
About the Role
We require an enthusiastic, motivated Occupational Therapist to join our experienced and supportive Allied Health team to work in a Grade 2 role. The clinical caseload will comprise rehabilitation focusing on orthopaedics, spinal surgery, cardiac surgery, medical/reconditioning and neurology.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to manage a diverse caseload and work autonomously, as well as actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, to address functional, equipment and service needs of the client population in the rehabilitation setting. Service provision may comprise both inpatient and outpatient services for individuals and groups.

You will also bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in rehabilitation and/or hospital setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation within Occupational Therapy Practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake professional supervision and/or mentor junior staff.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and conduct quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop evidence based and innovative clinical practices
- A willingness to assist caseload management or leave cover in other service areas (acute services and outpatient rehabilitation).
- Current Drivers Licence.
