About the Role
Albury Wodonga Health is undergoing an exciting period of significant growth with work to commence this year on the Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital Redevelopment. As part of this service expansion, Albury Wodonga Health is investing in Allied Health and is committed to growing the Allied Health Workforce to meet the needs of our local community. With that in mind, we require an experienced and motivated senior Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The successful applicant will be based within our admitted services stream as the senior Occupational Therapist on the orthopaedic and general surgery wards and will also provide clinical support to other acute areas including the Critical Care Unit. Leadership qualities and expertise in managing orthopaedic and general surgery caseloads is essential. This position will provide direct supervision and clinical support to rotating grade one OTs and will also be a primary student supervisor.
The successful applicant will receive professional supervision and clinical support from an OT team leader in addition to the OT Manager. Being available to work weekends, as part of a team roster, is essential.
