About the Opportunity Join our team as an Outpatient Occupational Therapist, where you'll play a pivotal role within our Ambulatory Care Team, collaborating closely with a dedicated Multidisciplinary Team.
Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from conducting home visits and prescribing equipment to facilitating home modifications and managing complex cases.
You'll forge strong connections with our inpatient team at Fairfield Hospital, ensuring seamless continuity of care for our patients. Additionally, as a supervisor, you'll guide and support up to two staff members in their professional growth.

Where You'll Be Working Fairfield hospital is located in one of NSW’s largest LGA’s and is a hub of diverse cultures, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. - Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within Ambulatory Care
- Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence based practice and/or development of treatment protocols
- 4.Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
