- Managing a caseload and completing therapeutic services
- Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based
- Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
- Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
