Occupational Therapist

An exciting opportunity has risen within our company at our clinic in Wyndham Vale for a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to join our innovative team. We have a growing caseload of preschool and school aged clients, between the ages of 3-12 years who have support needs and are looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in paediatrics to support them. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Can assess clients using informal and formal standardised assessments 
• Assessment, therapeutic planning, and intervention
• Willingness to work from a relationship-based approach
• Be willing and able to work under a neurodiverse affirming model 

To excel in this position, you will have the following skills:

• Fully registered with APHRA
• Paediatric experience 
• Experience working as a qualified/registered Occupational Therapist
• Have an understanding of the NDIS and how to support clients
• Be able to work in the social model of disability
• Be able to work in clinic and in the community
• Ability to manage a case load and complete timely case notes
• Be able to work in a collaborative team environment
• Highly motivated and positive 
• Willingness to work across the lifespan 

The successful candidate will be joining a team of OT's as well as other disciplines. In this role you will be working predominantly in the clinic with one day of site visits. As a fully qualified therapist, you will receive a respectable remuneration package based on the award and level of experience. A professional development package of $1000 per year is on offer and ongoing support from highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapists as well as the practice owners and colleagues from our Cranbourne clinic.
