Occupational Therapist - North East Community Mental Health

• Salary: $86,950 - $100,729 p.a. (pro rata) – AHP2 - Temporary Part-Time – 15 hours per week, up until 25 August 2024.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Occupational Therapist within the Northern Mental Health Division.

The Occupational Therapist is accountable to the Team Manager (community) for the provision assessment and treatment services for clients of Northern Mental Health, which aims to optimise health outcomes.

The incumbent may rotate through a series of clinical services.

The Occupational Therapist applies clinical experience, clinical knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated services to the needs of clients of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network.

This role allows you to utilise your discipline-specific skills in assessment and intervention in care coordination and Occupational Therapy clinic roles.

The Occupational Therapist works under direct clinical supervision and may provide direction and support to Allied Health Assistants and Students.

The Occupational Therapist works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and liaises directly with medical and nursing staff in NALHN and within other Community Agencies.

To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
