We are a 48-bed Rehabilitation and Surgical Hospital in Guildford. The hospital forms part of a larger 12 Hospital Group offering specialized rehab services for inpatients and outpatients.
About the Role
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Occupational Therapist who has recent clinical experience to work independently within our Inpatient and Outpatient programs.

Key responsibilities:
- To provide timely and high-standard occupational therapy services to the client to maximize function and performance of activities of daily living.
- To deliver patient-centered and goal-focused outcomes in an efficient and safe working environment.
- To work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Balance resources and high-volume workload to meet consumer, carer, and family needs to achieve positive outcomes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Degree in Occupational Therapy along with current registration with AHPRA
- Significant and recent clinical experience working in a hospital setting, providing specialist occupational therapy intervention in persons with chronic and complex health needs.
- Advanced reasoning skills and ability to operate independently with minimum direct clinical supervision.
- Experience and understanding of health and aged care-related community services.
- High level of interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Sound clinical reasoning and confidence with the recommendation of therapy, equipment, and home modifications
- Current unrestricted driver's license
