Bridges Occupational Therapy Service is a mobile based occupational therapy service for children in the Queanbeyan and Canberra area.

The services we provide are below but not limited to:

• Sensory processing difficulties and modulation
• Fine and gross motor development
• Early intervention
• ADL training and support
• Emotional regulation and behaviour support
• Social and play skill development
• Prewriting and handwriting skills
• School readiness skills

We are looking for full-time experienced, dedicated and passionate occupational therapy contractor with their own ABN to take over a lovely established caseload and provide occupational therapy services to a mainly paediatric population. There are also opportunities to work outside of the paediatric population.

Regardless of cancelations you won't have to worry about billables or justifying your time. You will be paid $500 a day. All we ask is that you look after your clients and provide a great service. 

Flexibility is plentiful with the ability to manage your own caseload and clients to times and days that suit you. All that's required of you is to see 4 clients on average per day e.g. 5 one day and 3 the next or 4 every day. How you structure your week is up to you. Travel will be required in your own car, however, you will get reimbursed 80c per kilometer and have the ability to tailor your travel schedule to increase efficiency and reduce travel. Travel is currently about 1 hour on average a day for established caseload.

We provide resources, assessments, report templates, a laptop and a phone. We take care of the billing and new client intake. We provide fortnightly P.D meetings and monthly team meetings. It’s simple you conduct the sessions, do your notes, liaise with and respond to client emails and write reports when required. What we need from you:

• Degree in occupational therapy (Bachelor or Masters)
• Be registered with AHRPA with no limitations on practice
• Own ABN
• Own professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• Drivers License
• Own car
• At least 3 years experience in paediatric occupational therapy
• Ability to work autonomously and to an excellent standard of practice
• Working with Children Check NSW
• Working with Vulnerable People Card ACT
