Naturally Kids Allied Health is looking for our next super star Occupational Therapist to join our team in Townsville supporting neurodiverse children and young adults.
Using a neurodiversity-affirming approach, we provide 1-on-1 and group occupational therapy to support children and their families to embrace their unique strengths and have the childhood they deserve. We are proud to offer services that are unique in the Townsville community including Nature-based Occupational Therapy groups and Sense Rugby.

Your Responsibilities
- Empowering parents and families to develop understanding and knowledge of the NDIS to support their ability to make informed decisions.
- Provide client-centered, neurodivergent affirming, strengths-based therapy to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
- Work collaboratively with the team around the child, including liaising with other allied health professionals, schools and families to support outcomes and progress toward goals.
- Provide meaningful, fun and evidence-based group and individual therapy, including nature-based and sports-based group programs.
- Administer and interpret standardised assessments and complete associated reports to advocate for client needs and provide well-informed strategies.
- Coach parents and families to understand their child’s needs. Empower them to know their children’s strengths and break down barriers.
- Support for children of all backgrounds and unique neurotypes to reach their potential.
- Opportunities for outreach and consulting work, to support children and families in the North Queensland.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Current First Aid certificate, or ability to obtain
- NDIS worker clearance, or ability to obtain
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
