SalaryAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Your opportunity:
- The purpose of this role is to deliver Senior Occupational Therapy services to eligible in and outpatients within Orthopaedics, Surgical caseloads or other areas of complex clinical need as required, within the WBHHS.
- This includes:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based Occupational Therapy clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality Occupational Therapy services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning, and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 8th July 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a., comprising salary between $124,435 - $133,901 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 8th July 2025 with the possibility of extension).
