Typical responsibilities include:
- Completing assessment (functional, workplace, ergonomic etc)
- Liaising between employers, employees, insurance companies and other health professionals
- Making referrals to other health professionals as needed
- Case management (goal setting, setting return to work plans, following up on progress)
- Potential to work in a dual Occupational Rehabilitation and NDIS OT role
To be considered, its essential you are a fully qualified OT and have a strong interest in Workplace Rehabilitation and Injury Management. You will also need a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience (in any OT field) and a driver's licence / access to a vehicle. While advantageous, specific Occupational Rehabilitation experience is not required in all instances.
While my client is able to sponsor, you will first need to check that you are eligible for full AHPRA registration as an OT. We can only progress candidates who are eligible for full AHPRA registration.
