The purpose of this role is to provide administration support to the Claims Manager in managing operational processes and internal and external client relationships.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home 3 days per week once trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely organisation of travel bookings, accommodation and itineraries within budget and in line with EML policy
- Assist with the administrative requirements of Claims Managers as delegated, including effective diary management to ensure optimal time management and email management
- Effective meeting management including timely completion and circulation of agendas, minutes, performance packs, appropriate room bookings, catering, and follow-up of outstanding actions
- Organise department Reward & Recognition activities in line with entertainment budget as required
- Maintaining an effective filing/archiving system to ensure business management documentation and personnel records and documents are suitably stored in accordance with records management policies and procedures and confidentiality/privacy requirements and are readily available electronically
- Coordinate the preparation of the monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Maintain department financial process in accordance with procedures
ABOUT YOU
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including intermediate to advanced skill level of MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability dealing with sensitive and confidential issues
- Demonstrated organisational, planning, time management and coordination skills
