The role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing treatment plans and implementing interventions, to improve daily functioning and independence. You will be supported by our senior Consulting OTs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals and our mentors. Our office is located in Wayville, but you'll have complete flexibility to work from where you want, when you want.
What we ask of you
- Provide meaningful assessments and design impactful therapeutic plans, for adults and adolescents with a broad range of physical and psychosocial diagnoses.
- Deliver assessments and therapies in the home, community and office – most of our work is done in-home, but we also provide services in the gym, in schools, even at the park or beach.
- Build relationships with your clients and their support networks – since Mentor Healthcare also provides mentoring, which is a long-term service, you’ll be involved with your clients longer-term and be able to enjoy the impact of your work.
- Coordinate with our senior Consulting OTs, mentors and other healthcare providers, to maximise the efficacy of your assessments and plans, and ensure your therapies are being implemented to maximum effect.

Your skills, qualifications and experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Empathy and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- 2 years' experience as an AHPRA registered OT (and a current registration)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle
