Our services and team have grown, and we now wish to appoint a full time Team Leader, to be based at our office in NUNDAH!
The Team Leader is responsible for the operational management and support of Occupational Therapy , along with the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost -effective services that are consistent with business objectives and processes and recognised standards, policies and best practice of the NDIS.
As our Team Leader you will provide clinical leadership and discipline support to our new graduates and beginning practitioners, and to our more experienced occupational therapists and speech therapists as needed
This position will allow you to continue to engage with clients and carry a discretionary and manageable clinical caseload, while also using your professional practice and knowledge to support and develop others within the team.
About the position
- Provide leadership and supervision to our Occupational therapists supporting the development of their clinical skills and discipline knowledge
- Have regular check-ins with the team (with varying experience) providing formal and informal support and feedback, and lead with a positive influence.
- Complete assessments & reports that are goal orientated to support life transitions.
- Ensure best practice standards for Occupational Therapy services and contribute to the improvement and development of clinical practices and procedures.
- Provide direction & actively oversee team member KPIS's, billables hours and stakeholder business engagement activities, escalating to the Clinical Lead and Operations Manager areas of concern and under performance to jointly establish action for improvement.

About you
- Experienced Senior Occupational Therapist wanting to share your knowledge and provide clinical supervision and support.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly, within a MDT, with other supportive clinicians and management in response to service and individual client and staffing needs and priorities.
- Comfortable communicator, with engagement and networking skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across internal and external stakeholders.
You will need
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with AHPRA
- NDIS Disability Worker Screening clearance, or an ability to obtain
- Working with Children Check, or an ability to obtain
- Current drivers’ licence
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
