Bupa Ballina is a beautiful care home set in the scenic seaside town of Ballina on the North Coast of NSW. Located near the airport and beaches, this care home provides an awesome tropical landscape. About the Role
As our Office Administrator, you will be working closely with our General Manager of the care home, mainly responsible for delivering administration support and processing admissions. You will be the face of our care home, taking care of visitors and meeting and greeting families. You will receive training to be able to assist with payroll reconciliation as required.
Duties
- Management of resident administration including enquiries, admissions and assisting in maintaining occupancy targets
- Staff rostering (when needed) including HR administration support
- Use of various applications including Dimensions, Kronos, Epicor and the Microsoft Office suite
- Financial management including petty cash, receipting, and banking
- General administration including document control, filing in line with Accreditation Agency Standards, customer service, reception etc
- Implementation of organisational initiatives and community events as directed by the General Manager
- Ad hoc support as directed by the General Manager
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Experience gained in a similar role preferred
- Intermediate to advanced skills across the MS Office Suite
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills
- The ability to solve problems independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An interest or passion for aged care
