SalaryRole Overview: We are seeking an experienced Administrator - Accounts / Payroll Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately coordinating payments to suppliers and employees while maintaining related records to ensure compliance with organisational and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivables data.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and monthly statements, investigating any discrepancies.
- Address and resolve clients' billing issues, facilitating payment of invoices and sending bill reminders when necessary.
- Generate financial statements and reports to detail accounts status.
- Manage end-to-end weekly payroll transactions, including payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation contributions, pay rates, wages, and new hire information.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and superiors.
- Assist with administrative and purchasing needs as required.
Who We're Looking For: We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Capable of managing multiple workstreams concurrently.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, especially in meeting strict deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; previous experience with Payroll and/or MYOB AccountRight preferred.
