Office Furniture Installer/Handy Man

MICON Office National is a leading supplier of Office Furniture and Office Products to Government,Corporate ,Healthcare and Education clients throughout the Illawarra & South Coast ,Southern Highlands and Sydney Business districts  servicing many high profile organisations..As part of the Office National Group Australia wide and independently and family owned with over 25 years trading our focus is very much the relationship with our customers and providing excellent service.Working closely with the Operations Manager and being part of a great team environment we are looking for an experienced enthusiatic Office Furniture installer assembler.

            As our Installer, you will be responsible for the quality installation of our commercial Office Furniture at our clients sites and assembly at our warehouse.This is a 38 hour per week, Monday to Friday, full-time permanent position based at our premises in Wollongong .We offer 1 Friday  off a month .We are looking for someone with a can do attitude, committed, wants to contribute, and be part of our  team. You will be passionate about furniture, relationship building and providing a quality finish with a quality product. Other attributes are willing to go the extra mile whilst performing the following .:

 Duties include but are not limited to;

• Office Furniture Assembly of workstations, desking, and seating etc
• Loading truck for daily deliveries and pick up
• Operating Electric Forklift and Company vehicles
• Liaising with freight companies ,suppliers and customers
• General cleaning of warehouse, some adhoc duties to support the team
• Furniture and Workstations Delivery to a wide range of customers .
• Stock handling and dispatch
• Communicate with our staff, customers and suppliers in a safe, courteous, professional and appropriate manner that lives up to our reputation of excelling our customers needs & requiremen
• Check that all goods to be collected / delivered match the product details/descriptions/serial numbers on invoices, delivery dockets etc
• Pick up of Furniture from Suppliers as required 
• Understanding of basic layout/furniture plans

Attributes to be successful in this role;

• Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy items
• Be able to read and interpret documents such as floor plans, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to assemble furniture in both our Warehouse and on site
• Handyman background preferred ...
• Display excellent customer service 
• Manual Drivers Licence.White Card
