Rare opportunity for a duel Office Manager who is drawn to the technical operations of clinical practice.
What we are looking for in a candidate.
As a growing, multi-location practice, we are seeking a full-time Office Manager who has the shared responsibility for managing the day-to-day practice operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business. Working alongside our existing admin staff, learning the front house operations, processes and systems, the Office Manager will play a pivotal role in duel managing the business. Communicating with the Podiatrists and administration staff, and executing effective communication skills with the Director is a must.
This role will require you to also work closely with third party referrers to further strengthen our relationships, with a key focus on providing high quality patient care. If you have an eye for detail, are adaptable and solution focused, enjoy a fun team environment, than this role is for you.
Office Manager Role - Key responsibilities.
- Promoting a positive work culture.
- Interacting with staff and patients, to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Working with the Directors around practice systems, procedures, and discovering optimal ways to utilise our current tech.
- Front desk administration duties.
- Point of call for staff queries.
- Using initiative to problem solve.
- Executing new procedures into the clinic and follow up with staff on protocols.
Office Manager Role - Requirements.
- Excellent organisation skills and prioritisation of tasks.
- Ability to show leadership within a team environment.
- Ability to create documents in Excel and Word, as well as high computer literacy to enable leaning new programs/design features with ease.
- Positive mindset.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an allied health or medical front desk role.
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS.
- Microsoft Office program knowledge (preferred).
- WordPress (website) knowledge (preferred).
- Ability to be flexible with locations (enabling overseeing staff in both our Kawana and Landsborough locations).
