We are seeking a passionate and experienced person to play a pivotal role in supporting the continued success of the business. Our client is a pioneer in their field, a family run business operating for decades and a team that encompasses both a corporate and family vibe. An amazing opportunity has become available to join them as an Office Manager.
Role:
- Developing and implementing administrative systems
- Managing the business's records and accounts systems
- Delegating tasks to administrative support employees and supervising their activities
- Performing accounting duties, i.e. invoicing, credit card reconciliation
- Working closely with senior managers and accountant
- Monitoring supplies across the business and ordering new stock as required.
- Ensuring accurate and up to date pricing
- Approving office purchases
- Preparing reports for management
- Scheduling appointments and managing meeting rooms
- Monitoring the business facilities for maintenance as required.
- Planning onsite and offsite events, including scheduling and arranging catering
- Inducting and training new clerical and administrative support employees
- Developing office budgets and schedules
- General data entry and administrative duties
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Friendly and adaptable
- The ability to meet deadlines, work independently and in a team
- Possess strong customer service skills with excellent negotiation skills
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, no weekends.
Hours of work are generally 8:30am-4:30pm (negotiable)
