About the role
Contribute to our strategic impact of supporting communities to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters.
In this role, you will be involved with ongoing recovery and resilience work as well as community and volunteer engagement across the whole Northern Rivers area (Clarence to Tweed), including a particular focus on recovery and resilience in the Kyogle local government area.
What you will bring
Experience in emergency management, project management or community engagement and/or community development
Sound experience working with volunteers/community members
Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Prior experience in delivering project or program outcomes
Experience supporting communities before, during, or after a disaster
Working with children check
Drivers licence

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 4. Salary from $82,063.28 FTE + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
