About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader – Warehouse via the Stores Leading Hand, this position is responsible for the maintenance of an efficient, safe, and secure warehouse facility ensuring a high level of material availability and customer satisfaction through effective utilisation of the Pronto Inventory Module System.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and issuing of materials in the warehouse
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in warehouse and compound.
• Security and access to the site warehouse facility
• Undertaking cyclic stocktakes and audit processes to be reconciled with the Pronto Inventory Module System and report on any variance
• Ensuring that the arrival of incoming stock is safely unloaded and stored at time of arrival and have appropriate SDS
• Safely handling and storage of all hazardous materials.
• Proactively identifying and reporting potential hazards and eliminating risk taking behaviours or actions
• Carrying out additional tasks / duties as directed by the Team Leader – Warehouse and/or Stores Leading Hand
• Championing Evolution Mining's Values and commitment to Safety, Environment, Inclusion and Diversity, and Emissions Reduction (Net Zero)

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in warehousing and procurement in an operational environment and be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently without supervision. To be considered, you must possess a Forklift Ticket, Franna Crane Ticket, handling dangerous goods, an understanding of the Chain of Responsibility, excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills at all levels, effective communication skills both verbal and written, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) a good attendance and safety record, logical thinking with good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in high pressure environments and prioritize and schedule work.
