Job summary
You will be responsible for managing the inventory procurement and inbound/outbound logistics functions within the company and ensuring that goods and services are procured to appropriate quantity, quality and cost requirements and with availability aligned to achieve best fit to the dynamic demands of both sales and operations planning.
Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the Supply Chain operations and inventory management within the organization. The role revolves around overseeing the procurement, logistics, and distribution processes to guarantee seamless supply of products.
Skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of international logistics and customs clearance management
- Strategic management, negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in the management of strategic supplier partnerships
- Minimum of five or more years’ experience in a similar Supply Chain role
- Analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated pro-active skills in identifying cost savings and efficiency opportunities
- Business, communication (written and oral), change management and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with SAPB1 will be an advantage
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, and customers.
