AddressAgnew Building Supplies is 100% dedicated to providing our customers with the best online ordering experience. It offers the ability to save time by ordering on the go. This position is full time Monday to Friday and is for an immediate start.
We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our team based in Queanbeyan.
Main duties include:
- Accounts payable function including matching invoices to purchase orders, inputting invoices into ERP system, preparing payments runs and managing any queries;
- Preparation of new supplier setups and credit applications;
- Reconcile supplier statements at the end of the month and ensure missing invoices are located and approved in a timely manner;
- Ensure supplier rebates are accurately collected and recorded;
- Reconciliation of the Goods Receipted not invoiced account;
- Accounts receivable function including monitoring and reviewing aged receivables and promptly following up on overdue customer accounts;
- Prepare daily upload of bank statement and reconcile in ERP system;
- Preparing payroll on weekly basis;
- Credit card reconciliation;
- Maintain debtor insurance policy including undertaking reporting obligations and submitting new customer account applications for assessment;
- Undertake month-end process, including entering of general ledger journals and the preparation and maintenance of general ledger reconciliations;
- Assist with the preparation and production of monthly management accounts;
- Comply with all relevant business taxation and employer obligations including GST, FBT, PAYG and superannuation guarantee obligations; and
- Support the sales team with general administration duties.
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills:
- Experience in Xero and other ERP systems;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi task in a dynamic fast paced business whilst being able to prioritise workload effectively;
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written; and
- Possess strong computer skills,
