Jadestone Energy are currently seeking an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to join the team offshore on the Montara Venture FPSO in the Timor Sea, approximately 690 km north-west of Darwin.

About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the OIM is responsible for leading the Montara Venture offshore facility team to ensure safe management of all operations in accordance with statutory requirements, the company's safety and performance standards and overall objectives. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage the operations and maintenance of the Facility in accordance with the Safety Case and all relevant Conventions, Acts, Regulations, Standards, Code of Practice, industrial agreements and Company directives, policies, plans, objectives, procedures and methods.
- Lead the Facility Management Team, Emergency Response Team and the Facility Health, Safety & Environment (SSHE) committees.
- Review, develop, manage and implement Company policy, procedures and programmes for the offshore Facility.
- Lead the short and long term co-ordination of operational strategies and planning for the Facility and Well Head Platform in collaboration with the Facility Management Team and Production Support and onshore operations support teams.
- Develop, monitor and maintain the Facility annual budgets in conjunction with the Operation Support and the Facility Management Teams.
- Maintain and update the facility’s emergency response plans and procedures.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role in a similar working environment.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification (engineering/ operations/ Marine)
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training Certificate (BOSIET)
- Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)
- Management of Major Emergencies (MOME)
- Offshore Facility Security Officer
- IMO 2 – Oil Spill Response Management (AMOSC), Desirable
