What you will do:

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is keen to become part of our sales team for North Geelong. This role will support the ongoing supply of products in store and assist in the growth of the existing customer base in the region.

With excellent interpersonal skills you will be capable of conducting business development activities, providing a high level of customer service to our industrial customers and have a desire to work in a motivated team.  The ideal applicant will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, be computer literate and be comfortable working with mechanical equipment. As a guide each day you will -

• Conduct business development and account management visits and calls with new and existing clients
• Provide courteous customer service and sales both in store and over the phone.
• Process Orders
• Pick and pack customer requirements
• Assist in dispatching of good
• Consultation with suppliers to source and help fill customers
• Follow up quotations submitted
• Maintain a good knowledge of products in stock
• Additional activities and projects as required

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a proven track record in sales and relationship building
• The ability to work too and achieve sales targets
• Competent in scheduling, time management & delegating tasks
• Well developed numeracy, literacy & digital skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, phone manner and presentation skills

We are looking for someone with:

• A background in Bearing & Power Transmission Industry or Trade related qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
• Ideally have a Retail or Sales background or willing to learn
• Current Clean Victorian Drivers Licence
• Formal sales training desirable
• Ability to work the following weekly Full-Time hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
• A passion to support and deliver an absolutely high level of customer service.
