Role Overview: We're seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Temporary Sales and Operations Assistant in a work from home role. This role is initially a part-time position for training, transitioning to full-time when our current key team member takes maternity leave around early August. There is potential for this role to become a permanent part-time or full-time position for the right candidate.
Start Date:
- Part-time training: Commencing July 16th or July 23rd. Flexible on hours, suggested 3 hours per day 5 days per week (12pm - 3pm), initial training in person preferred.
- Full-time: Commencing in or around 8th August (pending actual birth date) for approximately 4 weeks work from home.
Duties would be including but not limited to:
- Answer and return phone calls
- Tending to and following up quotes
- Placing and fulfilling orders
- Liaising with Customers and Suppliers on any issues that may arise
- Checking Suppliers Order confirmations against orders placed and processing orders on back-end
- Sending Customers delivery or pick up information relative to their orders
- Advising Customers on morning of delivery the suppliers tentative delivery window
- Checking and entering Suppliers invoices against purchase orders in Xero
- Assisting with Marketing and Promotions
Knowledge & Experience:
The ideal applicant would have knowledge & experience with (however not required):
- Metal Roofing Products
- Xero Accounting Software
- Woocommerce/Wordpress
- Microsoft Paint/Paint.net
The ideal applicant would be motivated and ambitious, sharing our vision of growth and help maximise the stores potential, as such would need to be capable of working autonomously.
This role can be undertaken 100% work from home remotely however would encourage and recommend training for the first few weeks be done from a Home Office in Seventeen Mile Rocks QLD. Flexibility to start training anytime.
