Onsite /Offshore Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking Onsite Registered Nurses for an onshore gas facility in NT to join our team on a casual maximum-term basis. This residential based position offers a wide variety of roles and responsibilities that includes education, safety support and reporting on the HSE activities onsite. Applications from Darwin, NT are preferred however, Australian wide applications will be considered.

In this role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Providing on-site routine general medical services

· HSE Support duties as well as Health and Safety presentations and guidance to workers

· Emergency primary care of injured workers

· Drug and Alcohol testing

· Immunisations, IV and fluid management

· Dressings and medication administration

· Documentation and patient contact / emergency care management

· Liaison with all stakeholders within the workers compensation system and Return to Work Program

· Training and development of site personnel

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse with current registration. You must possess experience in remote patient care, life support and have excellent clinical, treatment and emergency skills along with;

· Minimum of 3 years recent experience in remote emergency care

· Experience and Certificate in Rehabilitation and Return to Work

· Advanced Life Support (ALS)

· Certificate IV in Training and Assessing

· Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

· Certificate in Collection of Specimens for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Testing (HLTPAT005)

· HSE/OHS qualifications (Certificate IV or above) - Desirable

· Possession of "C" class driver's license

· Current Immunisation Certificate

· Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
