Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing the power and performance of AEG power tools directly to jobsites and businesses. This direct sales role is about ease of doing business, minimizing downtime by getting businesses the tools they need, where they need them, and providing a direct AEG contact on call.
What Your New Role Entails
- Proactively identify & seek out potential clients in the Construction, Landscaping, Manufacturing, Maintenance & Education industries.
- Plan approaches and pitches that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Maintain and merchandise a VW Crafter van (stored securely overnight at a local storage facility).
- Transact, fulfill, and deliver orders from your van & local storage lock up.
- Maintain strong customer relationships providing after-sales support.
- Sell our portfolio of brands including Kango & Empire tools.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Proven sales or relevant experience in the tools, construction, or similar industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- MS Office proficiency and CRM experience desired
- Current driver’s license with good driving history (will need to provide prior to start)
- Comfortable meeting physical requirements i.e. lifting products in and out of the van
