Onsite Support Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract.
Job DescriptionThe
Onsite Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Fulfil Incidents/Service Request tickets assigned to the site support group, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Act as the primary technical expert for client infrastructure and desktop support requests, delivering comprehensive assistance and solutions.
- Provide on-site support for information security, servers, networks, peripherals, and related infrastructure needs.
- Adhere to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards and best practices, following the lead and guidance from the ITSM organisation.
- Participate in IT project coordination, contributing to the successful implementation of IT initiatives.
- Maintain and perform required reporting & inventory management.
- Manage service providers and outsourced resources to ensure optimal service delivery.
The Successful ApplicantThe successful individual will ideally possess the following:
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across a range of IT systems and applications.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with hardware life-cycle management.
