Be Recruitment is seeking compassionate and dedicated Case Managers within the Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) program. This role involves supporting young people in therapeutic care settings, working collaboratively with their Care Team, and ensuring their safety and developmental wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Handle a caseload of 1:6 young people across intensive therapeutic care houses and ITC step-down options.
- Therapeutic Relationships: Build collaborative, caring relationships with young people to support their ongoing safety and developmental wellbeing.
- Trauma-Informed Care: Commit to training in the trauma-informed approach in daily interactions with young people and their Care Team.
- Family and Community Engagement: Facilitate relationships between carers, workers, and the young person's family and support networks.
- Driver’s License: Current and valid.
- Working Rights: Proof of valid working rights in Australia.
- Advocacy Skills: Ability to advocate for clients' rights and needs.
- Management Skills: Experience managing staff and work placement students.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Empathy: Patience and empathy when working with clients with diverse needs.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage caseload and documentation effectively.
- Client-Centred Care: Commitment to delivering client-centred care.
- Minimum: Diploma of Community Services (or related diploma).
- Preferred: Graduate degree in psychology, social work, or related discipline.
- Experience with Aboriginal communities is essential.
