Our Op Shops play a crucial role in funding our essential services. As our Op Shop Coordinator, your work will directly contribute to supporting women and children experiencing domestic violence, ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
Key Responsibilities
In this flexible, part-time role your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing our two Op Shop locations in Newcastle, ensuring effective and efficient operations through regular attendance at both stores
- Social media strategy and content creation for the social pages
- Recruitment, selection, induction and ongoing management of our large pool of volunteers for each Op Shop
- Participate in the implementation of GYBS volunteer functions, collaborating to ensure volunteers are appropriately recognised and rewarded
- Monitor Op Shop performance against business objectives and produce finance and operational reporting for management
Key Requirements
We are seeking an energetic, proactive individual with a passion for giving back to the community. You will need:
- Exceptional customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience and confidence to manage a large team, including conflict resolution skills
- Strong merchandising experience and marketing capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to GYBS values and culture
