A vacancy exists within our Brisbane office for an experienced Open Plant Cleaning Systems Sales Engineer with measured sales success and track record, to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will need to be able to develop our range of System Cleaners Open Plant Cleaning solutions and products with the Australia and Nz regions. System Cleaners has risen to become one of the leading global suppliers of state-of-the-art Open Plant Cleaning solutions to top brands in the food and beverage industry. We not only provide high-quality cleaning solutions and equipment but also offer expert advice on optimal application for best results.

About the role

This full time, permanent role requires a technically minded person with proven sales experience to promote our new extensive Open Plant Cleaning product and solution range.

Key duties include:

  • Create and update lists of potential clients and update knowledge of market conditions.
  • Visit clients to identify selling opportunities and assess their needs.
  • Provide technical expertise, explain product features, and conduct demonstrations.
  • Negotiate prices, complete contracts, and arrange delivery/installation of goods.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports and records of business expenses.
  • Assist in designing and customizing cleaning solutions based on client requirements.
  • Manage Open Plant Cleaning projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with engineering team, prepare reports, and contribute to product improvement.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the effectiveness of cleaning solutions
  • Assist in the design and customization of Open Plant Cleaning solutions both electrical and mechanical based on client requirements
  • Conduct site assessments to understand the specific cleaning challenges in various industrial settings
  • Propose and implement engineering solutions to optimize the efficiency of cleaning processes
  • Perform tests and evaluations on cleaning solutions to ensure their effectiveness

Your skills and experience would include:

  • Engineering qualification 
  • Sales and Account management qualification
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with System Cleaners range of equipment and solutions
  • Customer focus and an ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to streamline internal communications
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Highly motivated with the ability to plan, schedule and manage time efficiently
  • Have the commitment to adhere to the companies Quality and WHSE policies and procedures
  • Valid driver's licence

The successful applicant will be offered salary in the region of $100K- $120K dependant on experience
