Seeking technical sales professional for leading manufacturer in Brisbane. Technical role suited to seasoned Sales Engineer - Gear Boxes and Motors

The Company:

My client designs, manufactures and distributes a complete range of Power Transmission products and systems for the industrial process markets worldwide. Operating globally, they are at the forefront of the industry. They are seeking the assistance of a seasoned sales professional to manage and grow the Brisbane and surround area client base.
The Role:

As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for sales and customer service to valued customers within the mining, industrial, OEM, Machine builders and general manufacturing markets.

• Sales of custom gear boxes and electric motors into a wide variety of clients and industries
• Prospect, qualify, close and process applications in industries mentioned above.
• Analyse market conditions and develop business plans and coordinate its implementation.
• Identify customer needs, propose solutions, and close orders for assigned products.
• Provide technical support whilst achieving set sales targets for your designated territory.

The Candidate:
You must have at least 3-5 years’ experience with a similar role, ideally from an industrial, mechanical background such as bearings, pumps or valves.
Candidates with experience in transmission products such as gearmotors, variable speed drives and electric motors will be highly regarded. You will be a highly organized individual, with excellent communication skills, coupled with a strong technical knowledge, and a natural drive to succeed in this industry.
