St Luke’s Hospital consists of a day surgery unit, rehabilitation unit, two medical/surgical wards and four Operating Theatres. St Luke's Care's major specialties are hand surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, plastics, gynaecology, paediatrics, and general surgery.
We are currently seeking Operating Theatre Support Assistants to join our team in our Operating Theatres on a casual/ permanent part time basis
Your responsibilities may include:
- Transporting patients throughout St Luke’s Care
- Collecting and distributing supplies from the wards and units as requested
- Assisting with the positioning of patients for procedures
- Setting up the Operating Theatre rooms with appropriate equipment
- Ensuring all equipment is stored within policy guidelines
Essential Criteria:

- Ability to take direction and work in a multidisciplinary environment
