Responsibilities:- Be primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of the bank’s Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Register, Breach & Incident, Risk Profiling, Risk Assurance & Risk Reporting processes.
- Ensure risk management policies and procedures are adequate and in-line with regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular deep dives on all departments of the bank to test controls and propose improvements.
- Provide guidance and recommendation to the management and HO in regards the development of any risk management procedures and controls.
- Facilitate training with stakeholders / risk owners, ensuring open and effective communications.
- Actively drive upcoming regulatory changes (ie. Financial Accountability Regime / FAR & CPS 230 go-live).
Experience and Qualifications:- 3-5 years of hands-on risk management experience in an APRA regulated banking institution (foreign ADI preferred).
- Strong understanding of CPS 220; with the ability to interpret any upcoming regulatory changes (ie. CPS 230), requirements and their implications on the regulated entity.
- Solid understanding of risk and control frameworks, RAS, risk policies etc.
- Strong stakeholder management and report writing skills.
- Motivated, collaborative and adaptive team player.
- Chinese Mandarin speaking & writing skills are highly advantageous.
