Senior Analyst | Operational Risk Frameworks

Join our global Operational Risk Team based in Sydney and provide guidance to Macquarie’s operating and support groups on the management of material risks and deliver oversight, challenge and insights on Macquarie’s risk profile.

In this role, you will support the governance of Macquarie’s Operational Risk Frameworks, related strategic initiatives and embedment of principles across the organisation. This includes facilitating design workshops, GRC system solutioning and delivering change and learning activities. You will develop subject matter expertise across risk assessments, control management, assurance, issues and incident management to provide effective oversight over our frameworks and practices. You will be joining a dedicated team who work closely with business leaders and their teams to provide support to uplift risk management practices across the organisation.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, Operational Risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
