Operational Services Officers – Porterage, Cleaning, Food Services, Linen Services, Waste Services, Resource Pool support clinical staff to deliver the best possible care to patients. From providing nutritious meals, to transporting patients throughout the hospital, to keeping our hospital clean, providing clean linen and collection of all waste across the campus. Operational Services Officers are integral to running an effective and safe hospital.
About the role:
Provide non-clinical support to the Rockhampton Hospital Campus in the areas of porterage, cleaning, food services, linen and waste management.
About you:
The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Displayed skills in the area that you are applying for e.g. Food, Cleaning, Porterage, Linen and Waste.
- Written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise clients and employees of the hospital.
- Ability to work in a team environment in a large organisation.
- Ability to abide by relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Salary information:
- A salary between $37.30 - $39.80 p.h. (including 23% casual loading)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
