About this role:
As a Source Control Officer, you will have the opportunity to protect Unitywater assets, products and services and the receiving environmental values via the development of Source Control strategy and delivery of Source Control activities across the whole service area.
Additionally, you will develop and implement Source Control strategies for all Unitywater sewer catchments, to protect Unitywater infrastructure, product quality standards and the health and safety of Unitywater team members, contractors, and the general public.
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater's values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
- Territory qualification relevant to wastewater chemistry and/or treatment processes, or other qualifications relevant to the position.
- Strategic thinker with significant experience in business process improvement, with strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in interpreting wastewater analytical results and the ability to review results against treatment plant performance, sewer admission standards and agreed objectives relating to effluent and biosolids reuse.
- Demonstrated experience in customer management in a commercial environment.
- C Class Driver's License.
- Knowledge of modern sewage treatment plant processes would be highly regarded.
- Passionate about new innovations including technology which will improve business efficiencies and the customer experience.
- The ability to analyse technical information and communicate this in a manner that is understood by internal and external customers.
