With several projects underway, we are now looking to appoint an Operational Services Manager who will be a vital Senior Leadership Team (SLT) member.
The role oversees Human Resources/Industrial Relations, Sustainability, Communications, Social Procurement, and Training functions across a multibillion-dollar project. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will ensure strategic oversight, compliance, and effective delivery of these key services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy development, support, and resourcing for Project Services teams.
- Identify and manage emerging risks impacting project service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Project Director and SLT, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and oversee reports, presentations, and proposals, ensuring implementation of agreed outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including budgets, plans, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual requirements and laws.
- Facilitate coaching, development, and training for the Project Services team.
Required Skills and Competencies
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Proven senior leadership experience in civil infrastructure or construction.
- Strong knowledge of HR/IR practices and relevant laws.
- Expertise in sustainability initiatives and social procurement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in risk management, compliance, and team development.
