About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists to join this dynamic business for a capable and competent Operational Improvement Manager. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence through the management of projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a keen understanding of operational processes, and a passion for driving positive change.
Reporting to the Exeuctive General Manager, you will be required to support the business projects and initiatives to deliver upon the business plan and strategic objectives.
The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
You will have an analytical mindset, a flair for numbers and be excited about change with innovative ideas for business improvements to help support the business growth strategy.

About Programmed Industrial Maintenance

Primarily you will assume all the below responsibilities:
- Provide advice to the business and leaders on change management delivery
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, to ensure successful delivery of Operational Improvement projects.
- Scope Definition: Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Business Case Development: Develop comprehensive business cases for proposed Operational Improvement initiatives, outlining potential benefits, costs, risks, and resource requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify the needs, expectations, and requirements of the various stakeholder groups
- Developing suitable measures to track performance
- Provide innovative ideas for business improvements
- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership
- Identify risks and potential issues whilst developing proactive solutions
Abut You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Change Management, or equivalent.
- Experience leading large and complex end-to-end change implementations
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate to various high-level stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies and plans
- The ability to build a high level of trust through maintaining confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Strong relationship building skills across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to proactively resolve issues before they evolve into problems
- Able to work autonomously or in a team
