Operations Accountant

Opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join an international payments company with offices in Melbourne.

Your new company

Located in Melbourne’s CBD, our impressive client is seeking a Financial Accountant. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Operations and Tax, you'll play a vital role inside this rapidly growing and high-calibre team. You'll work across a broad range of activities including General Ledger, transactional accounting, taxes preparation & audit. You'll also contribute to process improvement projects, work with SAP daily and gain extensive commercial experience within the exciting industry.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in accounting
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and database management
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships
• Strategic and critical thinking skills
