Operations Advisor

The Operations Adviser role is to support the Operational and Human Resources functions in the Taskforce and the flow of business through to the Division's Managers, Directors and Assistant Deputy Secretary. This is a fixed term role to 30 June 2025.Duties include supporting and providing advice on Operational issues specific to the Taskforce, managing the Taskforce's staffing profile, responding to emails and phone enquiries; developing briefings, coordinating division-wide processes to enhance system efficiencies, and providing general operational support.The primary responsibility of this role is to provide guidance and support to Taskforce staff on various Operational issues and policies and oversee document management. This role requires someone with advanced relationships building and management systems and working with the Central People and Executive Services teams to deliver responsive services in a fast pasted service delivery team, specific to the Taskforce.The secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Taskforce Rrecruitment support
• Assist with onboarding contractors and recruitment processing/ record keeping.
• Assisting new staff members with IT equipment, ID passes, building and network access, induction checklists and assisting with the ‘buddy system'
• Organisation
