Rowers On Cooks River is seeking a highly motivated team member to take on our Operations and Gaming Manager role at our not for profit sporting Club, located in the heart of Wolli Creek.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and execute the optimisation of the gaming and operational excellence principles to deliver performance:
- Build outstanding gaming team – recruitment, development, training.
- Provide excellent customer experience.
- Ensuring our exceptional venue gaming excellence principles are met.
- Collaborate with organisational operational gaming management to highlight areas of opportunity, gap analysis and lead the implementation and delivery of exceptional experience.
- Increase patronage to the Club.
- Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives.
- Implement and maintain the rollout of all operational systems, processes and policies.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Respond to audits that are completed to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures, attend safety meetings or training where required.
- Coordinate activities to improve the performance of the from of house team.
- Prepare weekly productivity, quality and operations reports, report on any variances and provide an action plan.
- Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments in order to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Execute and manage all repairs operational repairs and maintenance through both venue and Gaming.
Based on a 38 hour week this role does require flexibility of working hours which may include some weekends and evenings. Must hold a valid RSA and RCG.
Minimum of two years experience in a similar role is required.
