Atlan Stormwater, the premier stormwater management solutions provider in Australia, is looking for an Operations and Maintenance Technician. We want to welcome an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. Supported and assisted by our team, you as the Technician, will understand potential client needs, and collaboratively present proposals demonstrating our value-based services to our clients. The role will be focused on the maintenance of our stormwater treatment devices and collaboratively working with transport companies to deliver our goods to our clients in a way that represents our organization and core values.
To be successful in this position a ‘Can-do’, the ability to Get Stuff Done (GSD) and communication skills are paramount. The ability to display initiative, take directions, and maintain high professional standards for the role is critical.
Key Performance Indicator
Operations and Maintenance of stormwater treatment devices
Specific Responsibilities:
- Process and coordinate orders efficiently and accurately.
- Manage logistics and stock control, including yard management.
- Provide customer service and internal support.
- Ensure timely order dispatch and conduct quality assurance checks.
- Schedule and perform installation, commissioning, and Maintenance of stormwater treatment devices.
- Ability to travel/develop meetings with new and existing clients.
- Work using NetSuite in the operations & maintenance sales pipeline.
- Excellent follow-up skills.
- Maintenance scheduling and actual site attendance.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Calling potential customers for maintenance & commissioning and to lock in delivery dates.
- Provide detailed specialist advice to prospective customers on the services we provide.
- Experience in booking and coordinating bulky goods.
- Professional approach to developing relationships.
- Experience in team participation - friendly, enthusiastic, and positive towards all people and tasks.
- Excellent written and communication skills with a clear telephone voice and manner.
- Driver's Licence (including a Forklift license) is essential and the ability to travel when needed.
- Currently holds a Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
- Highly motivated – “can do attitude”.
- Good personal presentation

- Ability to take directions and follow through assigned tasks while working within a small team, as well as independently.
- Experience in the construction and/or civil engineering industry.
