We are currently recruiting for a highly safety focused Boilermaker to join the team at the Perth Repair Centre based in Welshpool, WA. We are offering a 7&7 roster.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of Mobile equipment
- Proven experience in Gouging, Lancing and General fabrication
- Ensuring clear communication across team members and to the Supervisor in regards to downtime and trouble areas
- Following specific maintenance strategies and procedures
- Overriding commitment to BHP Charter, health, safety, environment, and sustainable development
- Ensuring that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
- Maintaining a high-level working knowledge of safety processes
We are looking for individuals who have:
- Trade Certificate relevant to your skillset is required – Boilermaker/Fabrication
- Fork lift ticket
- EWP
- Experience operating Overhead crane
- Highly safety focused individual
- Capability in 1SAP or similar maintenance management system desirable
- Ability to identify defective mechanical components or equipment
- Dogging
