Job description

Plenti is a fintech lender, providing faster, fairer loans through smart technology and outstanding customer service. We are a dynamic and innovative business that is growing strongly. By continuing to deliver better customer value and experience we are taking market share from incumbent players in the personal lending, renewable energy and automotive finance markets.

We are a fast moving and ambitious organisation that seeks to bring in smart and capable people who can take ownership of their role to help the business continue to grow and thrive. With over 200 people based in Australia we are a small enough organisation that everyone can make a difference but we have very big ambitions that our passionate team are working to deliver.

Plenti is still a founder led business that began in 2014 and is now listed on the ASX with annual revenue of over $200 million and a loan book over $2 billion.

What will you be doing?

As an Operations Associate, you will play an essential role in optimising processes within Operations and Sales, continuously driving end-to-end improvements to deliver better and more efficient experiences that scale alongside our growth. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with the broader business to identify opportunities, prioritise work and drive successful implementation.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and delivering improvements to existing processes across our business, delivering better (and more efficient) customer and partner experiences
  • Designing and implementing new processes across the customer lifecycle that will scale alongside our rapid growth
  • Facilitating requirement workshops with key stakeholders to gain and detail the requirements; recommending direction to the business based on the cost/benefits trade-offs
  • When required, taking responsibility for rapidly resolving operational issues and incidents
  • Working closely with our product and engineering teams to improve automation across our business, ensuring operational team processes are factored into new product development

What skills & experience do you need?

  • 3+ years work experience across operations, business analyst or product-related role, in a high-performance and data-driven work culture
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, coupled with sound judgement
  • An understanding of basic relational database concepts, including data types, key constraints, and cardinality
  • Ability to translate between business needs and actionable requirements/conditional statements
  • Experience working autonomously while managing multiple projects
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of (and opinions about) what makes a great customer experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport
  • Ideally, experience with process mapping and process documentation
  • Ideally, strong technical skills and acumen, and experience with CRM platforms, reporting environments and low code/no code tools e.g. Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Hubspot, Zapier, Mulesoft, Workato, Amazon Connect, Genesys, Twilio, Databricks etc
