Operations Change Delivery Lead

Triple Zero Victoria (000VIC) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

The role of the Operations Change Delivery Lead is to implement service improvements or new services in Emergency Communication Services (ECS) using change management and project management disciplines to protect service delivery and employee experience.

Changes may be stimulated by request from agencies, ideas/suggestions from employees or in response to operational demand/vendor capabilities. The Operations Change Delivery Lead will coordinate requests raised via various sources through the Change Management process to ensure that changes in systems, processes, procedures and practices are fully scoped, developed and professionally implemented.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership, direction, planning and management of service improvements, and change requests in systems, processes, procedures and practices relating to a specific service portfolio (Event taking or Dispatch).
• Ensure that the implementation of ECS service impacting projects, change requests, service requests and audit driven programs of work utilise the ESTA Change Management process and are appropriately prioritised, scoped, resourced, funded and approved as directed by the Service Design Leader.
• Identify interdependencies with other departments and core systems including CAD, MDN, MMR, EAS, SMR, RMR, and other relevant managed services communication systems.
• Provide strategic oversight of changes to identify impacts across the organisation, striving to continuously improve the way we work and influence direction accordingly.
• Liaise with UX analyst and Design Leads to coordinate user acceptance testing internally and externally

About You

As the Operations Change Delivery Lead you will ideally have a tertiary qualification in Business Management or a related disciplines as well as advanced analytical skills to implement and drive change.

• Project Management experience, with proven ability to plan, forecast, scope and cost projects.
• Coordination and stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience writing briefs with clear scope and expectations.
• Experience of working in complex organisations.
