About The Role
The Operations Co-Ordinator is responsible for coordinating the day to day service operations of our busy fleet of 16 commercial vessels. Reporting to the Marine Operations Manager and collaborating with other department heads, you will ensure our customers receive an efficient and professional service. Being highly organised with strong time management skills, you will develop rosters, schedule our vessels and develop timetables. You will also ensure that our customer standards are delivered to meet our customer expectations by monitoring, maintaining and seeking opportunities for improvement.
Once successful, you will become part of our friendly and professional results oriented Marine operations team, offering exceptional service to a wide range of customers seeking an outstanding cruise and leisure experience.
We would prefer you to have had experience working on board a commercial or recreational vessel and operated the rostering system “Deputy”. However, if you’re a customer-focused, safety-conscious, team player, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Role Responsibilities and Requirements
As the Operations Coordinator, you will:
- Develop rosters for the Marine Department with the Marine Operations Manager (Using the rostering system Deputy)
- Develop and amend timetables
- Induct all new marine employees in line with company guidelines
- Check timetables are updated across all platforms including websites, facebook, tripview and our commuter apps.
- Manage payment systems and passenger movements
- Signage
- Wharf Bookings
- Vessel availability
- Presentation of personnel
- Coordinate training and induction of all vessel crew
- Provide guidelines, direction and supervision of staff uniforms and personal presentation
- Be time efficient with administrative duties
